When reading the description after having looked at the photo, the whole image changed drastically to me. You expressed an amazing concept here and executed it in such a way that nobody can escape the beauty and at the same time harsh reality of this "message". I am in awe. As for the photograph itself, I think you are skilled and very talented. The image is sharp in all the right places (places one focuses on more) and seems to be surrounded by a mist too. The girl's facial expression is quite melancholic and drowned in her own thoughts, it seems. I think it is a beautiful piece of art that everyone should see!
